IF – Social Design for Sustainable Cities

IF – Social Design for Sustainable Cities

Event date: 23th October 2020

People increasingly live in cities. Over the next decades the spatial and social urban fabric will be tested by densification and concentration of population, economy, capital, media, culture and knowledge.

In this context the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) Cluster Warsaw and the Polish Japanese Academy for Information Technology (PJAIT) together with the City of Warsaw and the European Commission Representation in Warsaw are organising the international Conference “IF – Social Design for Sustainable Cities” on 21 to 23 October 2020.

The international conference will gather 200 representatives from the public and private sector, creative minds, activists, and students to outline new pathways for European cities and other human settlements to create productive, sustainable and resilient cities for a liveable and inclusive Europe. Interactive panels, roundtables, workshops and methodology masterclasses aim to support and accelerate socio-cultural, socio-economic and technological transformation in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11.
